#40 Heavy-Duty Steel Sprocket with 3/4-Inch bore is commonly used for 3/4-Inch jackshafts, gearboxes, and half axles.Â
The Type B Sprocket allows the sprocket to be mounted in-board close to your machinery, bearing hangers, or engine for better load support or mount out-board for fitment or clearance. The #40 pitch had a much higher tensile strength(3,700lbs or greater) over the #35 pitch(2,100lbs or greater)Â roller chains for higher output machines.Â
The Sprocket Hub has two set screws to help hold the sprocket on the 3/4 shaft and 1/4 keyway.
