The TTS-689 Tennessee Thunderstix is our “BMF” cam grind built for 196cc, 212cc, and other small block GX200 based engines.
The TTS-689 is our big midrange cam design as a “street-strip” cam for mini bikes that want a cam that can cruise and race. The cam aims to offer good off-the-line torque and a powerful midrange. Using 1.2 or 1.3 ratio rockers on a big valve, ported, or billet head will help broaden this camshafts power band to make it one of the strongest cam in our arsenal. We recommend using this cam for stock appearing builds, especially when using 1.2 or 1.3 ratio rockers.
Using this cam requires an upgraded spring package, billet rod, and billet flywheel.
