The TTS-904 Tennessee Thunderstix is a big lift cam built for 196cc, 212cc, and other small block GX200 based engines.
The TTS-904, or what we call the “Black Bird,” is a big lift cam to take advantage of your high-flowing cylinder head. This camshaft works well with an engine where the cylinder head does the heavy lifting; we recommend this mostly for billet or custom cast heads that continue to increase flow above 350 lift pair with 1.1, 1.2, or high flow billet heads 1.3 rockers. This cam is also frequently used with combinations that don’t include ratio rockers, but a big lift is needed. The 252 duration and 108 centerlines produce a good scavenging effect higher in the rpm range to produce more top-end power. This is not a “street” friendly camshaft and will require block clearance to fit.
Using this cam requires an upgraded spring package, billet rod, and billet flywheel.
